About

PORTA is a manufacturer of restaurant-quality, frozen Italian pizzas and pastas. We use a unique Roman style pizza crust called “Stirata” that is hand-Stretched, generously topped with high-quality ingredients. We import many of our ingredients from Italy such as our 00 Flour, Tomatoes, Extra Virgin Olive Oil

All of PORTA's meal options should take less than 15 minutes to cook. They require some cooking time in the oven or on the stovetop to bring your meal alive and activate all its delicious flavours.

PORTA's products are all freshly made by hand at our kitchen in Toronto and then flash frozen to lock that flavour in.

We source all of our ingredients directly from trusted partners - many of whom are from Italy. Our flour for our Roman-style stirata pizzas comes from a 4th generation family-run mill in Le Marche, our San Marzano tomatoes come from Campania, and our extra-virgin olive oil is made by a close family friend in Puglia.

Packaging/Sustainability

We work hard to source the best packaging materials that keep our products fresh and minimize the impact those materials have on the environment.

All of our packaging is 100% recyclable, except for the stickers found on the pizzas and pasta sauce packaging.

Sustainability is one of our top priorities at PORTA. We believe that frozen, ready-to-cook meals that are perfectly portioned and using minimal packaging helps reduce waste and ensures food doesn't go bad.
